Hot 26+2 (90)

Hot 26+2 is a type of hot yoga in which practitioners perform 26 asanas (poses) and two Pranayama breathing exercises in a the humidity and heat (55% humidity and 104 degrees Fahrenheit) that was designed to emulate the climate of India.

Hot 26+2 is traditionally called “Bikram Yoga” and is considered the original hot yoga practice, invented in the 1970s by yoga teacher Bikram Choudhury.  It is a beginner class by design — all levels welcome.

Each posture and breathing exercise is completed twice and is designed to work the entire body, from head to toe. The traditional 90-minute set sequence of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises is composed of a standing series followed by a floor series where each posture is done twice. Through discipline and structure, 26 & 2 allows students to gain strength, flexibility, and balance.

Conducted without music, Hot 26+2 assists in developing the concentration needed for meditation and proper alignment. It's designed to heal, strengthen, and detoxify the body as well as the mind. The heat will allow you to safely reach new levels of personal flexibility and establish the mind-body connection. This class is suitable for all levels, and modifications will be provided to accommodate different fitness levels and abilities. Hot 26+2 (60)

This is a shorter version of the traditional 90 minute class. In the 60 minute version - which is always all levels by design and perfect for beginners, the class is condensed into “super sets” and moves at a quicker pace than the 90 minute version.

Hot Vinyasa Flow

This is a dynamic form of yoga that combines a challenging sequence of poses to build strength and focus while increasing flexibility. Using your own body weight and control of your breath challenges your physical and mental limits.

Vinyasa yoga is one of the most popular styles of yoga practiced in Western yoga studios today. A Vinyasa yoga practice connects individual poses or “asanas” with deep breaths or “pranayama” in a series of flowing sequences of movement.At Focus we designed our Hot Vinyasa classes to progressively open the body. Each sequence builds upon the previous, evolving into deeper, more advanced postures as the practice unfolds. The entire practice culminates with a deep sense of mindfulness, self-connection, and ease.Our Vinyasa flow class includes a range of standing, seated, balancing, and targeted core strengthening poses. Some classes might offer guided meditation, chanting, or breath work, and all classes end in a state of utter relaxation in Savasana. Yogis can expect to experience increased flexibility, strength, stability, and overall calmness and clarity. This class is suitable for all levels, and modifications will be provided to accommodate different fitness levels and abilities. Come prepared to sweat, challenge yourself, and leave feeling rejuvenated and centered.

Hot Vinyasa 45

A 45 minute speed version of our traditional Hot Vinyasa Flow class.

Hot Vinyasa Power

Power yoga is a fast-paced cardiovascular workout focused on building strength and flexibility in the body through high-impact yoga postures.

Each of our teachers was trained in the traditional Baptiste style which features;

  • Strength-building poses are held for up to a minute, helping to build strength in the targeted muscle group.
  • Aerobic workout.  Increasing heart rate and burning calories through a full-body workout.
  • A blend of Vinyasa-style poses. At least half of the asanas (postures) in a power yoga class come from Vinyasa yoga sequences, where you link breath to movement.
  • Aligns with Ashtanga yoga. Ashtanga yoga is a very specific series of poses that flow together in an ordered sequence.

Hot Yoga Sculpt

The music and positive vibes will be pumping along with your heart rate while you improve your cardiovascular health, stretch, strengthen, sculpt, and stabilize your Self.

During this 60 minute full body workout, two dynamic yoga flows designed to warm up and lengthen the musculature as well as challenge core strength and balance will flank the majority of this workout, which consists of functional strength training done with light weights, resistance bands and other props.

Hot HIIT

Hot HIIT is a heat-based training system that combines High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), muscle toning, and cardio. This class burns fat and creates long, lean muscles, with rapid results.

This high-intensity interval training (HIIT) class is designed to help you build strength, improve cardiovascular endurance, and burn calories in a heated room. The class combines cardio and strength exercises, such as plyometrics, resistance training, and bodyweight movements, with short periods of rest in between to keep your heart rate elevated and maximize calorie burn. The heat of the room promotes detoxification and can help to improve flexibility, while the high-intensity exercises will help you build lean muscle mass and boost your metabolism. The class is suitable for all levels, and modifications will be provided to accommodate different fitness levels and abilities. Come prepared to sweat, challenge yourself, and leave feeling energized and accomplished.
