Tico and Andy

Founders

The Focus tradition has been alive for over a decade, passed down three times all with the same commitment to wellness and community until a global pandemic shut it down.

In the spring of 2022, two former Focus devotees joined forces to bring back the magic. Tico & Andy were only “yoga friends" until a chance meeting at Home Depot during the pandemic jump-started a brand new relationship that ultimately led to the rebirth of Focus.

We pride ourselves in having the best teachers, the best physical space, and the hottest hot room around. But what we’re most proud of is the community that we’ve built  - an eclectic mix of all shapes and sizes, colors and prizes, and some so-called senior citizens that are living proof that this practice keeps you forever young.

Stop by and visit - first class is always free.

Linda Geraghty

Studio Manager

Linda found yoga at a challenging time in her life. She was searching for a way to release stress through exercise and discovered that yoga offered more than physical benefits. It also opened her to a depth of calm not experienced before. In 2008, after a few years of practice, she was eager to share the inner peace she was gaining through her practice with others; so, she became a yoga instructor.

In 2013, Linda opened Hummingbird Yoga and Massage, and immediately found a caring, loving, and supportive yoga community. In 2014, Linda developed the NECTAR Program (Nurturing Energy Cultivates Trauma/Addiction Recovery) with the help of the Hummingbird instructors. Her trainings inform a more inclusive, gentler, yet empowering approach to Yoga.

Linda has joined the Focus team as studio manager to share her experience and help us expand the Bryn Mawr yoga community.
